On 28th May 2019, International Menstrual Hygiene Day, Gloria Afetor, the brand ambassador of Faytex Sanitary Pad in the Volta region in collaboration with Feminine Star Africa and support from Faytex Sanitary Pad organized an Awareness Seminar on Menstrual Hygiene and the Health Hazards of using Unsafe Sanitary Pads. This incredible seminar was held at Have-Sadzikofe D.A JHS. Over 35 JHS female students were trained.
Miss Veronica Sunu enlightened these students about everything that matters in menstruation.
Miss Gloria Afetor, the Brand Ambassador for Faytex Sanitary Pad in the Volta region donated some Faytex sanitary pad to the girls. She educated them on the dangers of buying all the cheap pads on the market and further encouraged them to use the safest pad, Faytex.
It was a very successful program as both students and teachers learnt a great deal. They appreciated the impact of the resource persons, Miss Gloria Afetor and Miss Veronica Sunu.
